Apple Dapple Cake

Ingredients

1 1/4 cup vegetable oil

2 cups sugar

3 eggs, beaten

3 cups flour

1/2 tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking soda

3 cups chopped apples

1 cup black walnuts

6 oz. butterscotch bits


Directions

Combine all ingredients in large bowl, starting with oil, sugar and eggs.  Then add flour, salt and soda.  Lastly, stir in nuts, apples and butterscotch bits.  Spread in greased, floured 9x13 baking pan.  Bake at 300 degrees about 1 hour and 15 minutes (test with a toothpick to make sure done).  Good with brown sugar or cream cheese icing.
